3D Printing Corporation K.K. (HQ: Yokohama, Kanagawa, Representative: Alexander De Vore) announced that it has raised JPY400MM in an oversubscribed growth funding round from Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation, Amada, Mirai Souzo, Yamanashi Chugin Management Consulting and Fuyo General Lease. With this funding, 3D Printing Corporation continues its development of a new 3D printing based supply chain to achieve its vision of revitalizing Japan manufacturing with 3D printing manufacturing technologies.
Purpose of the Funding
We, 3D Printing Corporation, aim to build a next-generation supply chain by harmonizing 3D printing technologies and existing manufacturing technologies. We continue to differentiate ourselves by building and standardizing the core technologies necessary at each step of the 3D printing manufacturing process.
We plan to allocate this new capital to accelerate our R&D efforts to develop new applications and create a one-stop digital platform to deploy our 3D printing manufacturing technologies. Our platform aims to shorten time for manufacturers to adopt 3D printing technologies by offering clients the core formula and process through a proprietary, interactive digital library that builds on our broad catalog of 3D printers and post-processing solutions.
Additionally, our shareholders from this growth financing round will offer further access to key Japanese enterprises searching for solutions to bring higher performing products to market faster. Our new partners will also enable us to expand our ability to support our clients from the financing perspective as well.
